Prof. Dr. Olena Korzun is a historian of agrarian science in Ukraine. She is Associate Professor at the National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), where she also received her doctoral degree in history. She is author of more than 80 publications, including two original monographs, and has edited two collections of documents and materials.

Prof. Korzun’s project at the LMU Historisches Seminar, “Collaboration of German and Ukrainian scientists in agricultural research, 1800–1950”, aims to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the historical processes of cooperation and forms of interaction between German and Ukrainian agricultural scientists, as well as the development of their research topics. This project is funded through a COST short term mission grant and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science.
