Workshop: Memories and Representations of Trans/national Nuclear History in the Former Socialist “Peripheries”

Am 3. März 2026 findet an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München der Workshop “Memories and Representations of Trans/national Nuclear History in the Former Socialist ‘Peripheries’” statt. Internationale Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler diskutieren literarische, visuelle und erinnerungskulturelle Perspektiven auf die nukleare Geschichte in Ostdeutschland, Zentralasien und darüber hinaus. Der Workshop bringt Beiträge aus Japan und Deutschland zusammen und eröffnet transnationale Blickwinkel auf Erinnerung, Übersetzung und Repräsentation im nuklearen Zeitalter.
